Linda and Peter [melbourne engagement photography]

On a stunning Sunday afternoon in Sorrento, on Melbourne’s glorious Mornington Peninsula, I caught up with Linda and Peter for their engagement session (e-session). Linda and Peter currently live in Bendigo, but Linda grew up in Sorrento, which will make the most perfect location for their wedding next month. We wanted to scout around a few locations with the wedding day in mind. So a relaxed stroll around the Sorrento gardens, followed by a visit to the Sorrento back beach, was in order. This couple really do mean it when they say they want ‘natural’ wedding photos (not everybody does, I am learning ;P), and just have a look at Linda…..I have already discovered she is incapable of reigning that dazzling smile in, it’s just all her. I tried multiple times to get her to ‘do’ a serious face and she couldn’t!!!! So we gave up, because if it’s not in her then I have no business trying to photograph it. And if you own a smile like that, why would you put it away.

B-session? B for Bridesmaids!!! Oh all right, I made it up. It’s just that now the “e-session”, for the engaged couple, is all the rage, I got carried away with finding a jazzy name for photographing a bride and her bridesmaids.
